We have a huge patch of ivy in our backyard. Is it ok for the chickens if they happen to eat it?

Quote: Certain types of Ivy, chickens will avoid (like English Ivy). They don't like the taste of it. I don't think it'll be a problem for your chickens, but snakes, rats and mice like to hide in ivy, so if there is a lot of it growing as ground cover, those things could pose a problem for your chickens.

Ok. I just wanted to make sure the actual ivy wouldn't hurt them.
