I said goodbye to Jack today. He went to go live with someone I know and I can check on him occasionally. He's now got his on harem of about 30+ hens and I do believe he will be very happy there! I'll miss him but I'm not really sure that I'll miss him that much.

This morning my 4 hens seem a little confused and lost but I have kept their routine as normal as possible and I believe they will be fine. I've got 2 that are dooking it out maybe re establishing top dog since the man of the house is gone? I don't know. I'm watching them closely though.

This was what was best for us. He was becoming way too aggressive towards me and mounting my favorite hen Rose almost constantly. I'll miss his big ole personality but it's better that he has a larger flock to get through his teenagerisms.

I also have a boy named Jack. He's an EE, and takes good care of his harem, though they're a bit feather bare! He has plenty of girls, but some get more attention than others! He's a good Daddy, one of his girls are setting on eggs now. First broody for me in about 45 years!
