This is Rotisserie. Such a pretty bird.
 
Anyone having fly problems with all the rain? My coop and run dry out only for more rain. I have a fly trap and diatomaceous earth has been put down, not that it seems to help. The coop is clean but it is the outer area where I let them run that seems to be the worse. I read on one thred that certain chickens like flies? Mine like collards and the lawn lol.
 
The absolute BEST solution for flies outside the coop (I used to have them horribly, too) is to go to Lowe's, Home Depot, local hardware store and buy these:


They are AMAZING! Hardly a loose fly flitting around, and once it's full just throw it away. And they are inexpensive...holds a ton of 'em!
 
Welcome to BYC! Sorry one of your chickens may be a rooster. We have had many roosters in the past, but currently have none in our flock of 25. Good luck with your flock.
