Jade Prince Seeks Kingdom (Yes, sorry, another free rooster - Binghamton NY area)

Daisy turned out to be D----T Dudley, You're Not Supposed To Be A Dude.... Dudley (or Duds, or Dudikins) for short. He's a stunningly pretty austrolorp rooster who is crazy soft to pet. he was hand raised inside and is used to people - and used to me scooping him up, petting him, hugging him and otherwise manhandling him to keep him used to people. He's still figuring out what it is to be a Roo and has has his tailfeathers swatted by both me and my older queens of the coop, but he's stupid proud of his new ability to crow. Bless him.


He can't stay here.

He'd make very pretty babies for your hens, and if he doesn't work, i'm sure he'd make for good dinner.... but my sappy heart would like to avoid having to make that choice, myself.

He is beautiful, funny you said his name was Daisy. Our Daisy just started crowing last week. My DD was so disappointed. She had hopes her 2 would "marry" and have babies. lol. Her other is named Maisy and looks like a roo, but hasn't crowed yet. We'll see. Good luck with finding a new home for your pretty boy.
