I bought 12 Japanese Bantam eggs but got given 6 Barbu D'Anver eggs and 6 Japanese Ohiki eggs. Only two of the "Ohiki" eggs hatched. I did some research and I'm not sure if they are pure breeds or about the general care if they are? Some say they're really difficult to care for and some say they're nice and hardy. I have a hen set on them and they're happily eating non medicated chick crumb. Can anyone tell if they're pure bred and about the care?? I'm dedicated to all my chickens' needs so I don't mind if it's a little time consuming. I can get more pictures soon.
