I picked this hen up about 9 months ago as a Sarama. The more I look at her and learn, I think she is a Japanese. Thoughts?

I don't know what breed  but it is not a Serama hen.  The shape and wing carriage are wrong.

Yeah we didn't know as much when we got her. My girls wanted a little chicken. The more I've read, I assumed either a Japanese or bad "barnyard" Sarama. Great bird but just trying to figure it out.

Looks more like an Old English Game bantam or OEGB mix.

I was thinking the same thing. Either that or a low quality serama.

Here's a picture of her in the palm of my hand.

It's hard to judge size by someones hand, since we don't know how big your hand is, that's why I said a can. Typically you will want to use something that is common and doesn't vary in size, such as a soda can, 2 liter bottle, ruler, etc

It was a picture I had handy. I'll get a better one. We were thinking a low quality Serama as well until the OEGH was mentioned. After looking, I could totally see the resemblance to the Wheaton.
