I have a bronze hen and a white tom and they are very friendly...until today when I went and picked up one of my chicken hens and they both puffed up and followed me to my chair and the bronze hen actually turned red and started pecking my poor chicken. I had to cover her up quickly to protect her. She continued to try and get at her under my arm by pecking my arm, . I have never seen her act like this before. The Tom never pecked but was aggitated and puffed up. The turkeys have taken to me more so than the chickens. I am able to pet them and they follow me all over the yard. So I thought do they get jealous or what?
