Jealousy

Does anyone else have a problem with jealous chickens? I go out and sit with my girls before they go into their coop. They all ant to sit on my lap at thesame time. If they feel like they are not getting enough attention the try to push one another off. I only have three, but it is so funny to watch.

I thought it was just my 3 girls... When I go into the pen to sit with them Lucy will come up to me first and climb onto my knee and want to cuddle. Alice will jump up and also want some attention. If I ignore Lucy too long she will climb onto my shoulder and possibly my head. At this point Jane decides there must be something interesting about me and hops up too. If I pet Jane without holding onto Lucy, she will hop onto Jane's back. Something like this happens quite often. Lucy just loves attention and gets jealous of the others. It is very funny to me and quite sweet.
