I am thinking about letting my cochin sit on a batch of eggs.
My rooster is a Jersey Giant and my two hens are a cochin and a barred rock

What should the chicks come out lookin like?
Will the cochin JG cross get feathers on the feet?

How fast will they mature at the rate of the hen or the rooster?

Most likely you will get feathered feet. Not greatly but some feathering, depends on your Cochins themselves.

You should get moderate growth. Not the 18 months that it takes a JG but perhaps a good 12 months for full growth. Still any pullets should be laying by 6-8 months old. Roos can be put in the freezer easily at 4-6 months. We do JG at 4 months and some Cochins at 6 months.

Consider your stock as it may cause your mileage to vary. Though it sounds like a nice cross,
