Jersey Giant Chicks

I think in a couple of weeks, they will be big enough and well-feathered enough to withstand freezing temperatures, as long as they are acclimated to it.

I usually start putting mine out for the day in 2 connected dog kennels, without a heat source as soon as they are fully feathered (depending on how cold it is, you may want to keep an eye on them) and that helps introduce them to the other chickens and get acclimated to the weather.

At 8 or 10 weeks, they are on their own, and I make sure they get put up in a ventilated, but not drafty coop/roost and they do fine.

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.

Just provide them with a huddle box in an area sheltered from wind and put lots of fluffy dry bedding in it and they should be fine.
Your chicks are fully feathered. I raised chicks outside in the built-in brooder of my coop when temps were in the low 20s when the chicks were 2 weeks old and they did fine with their brooder plate spending most of their time zipping around and only going under the plate to warm up when they needed it.
