Coming to Jim Thorpe Any BYC members out there?

My wife and I are just getting started with our chicken adventure, and we live on the east side of Jim Thorpe. We purchased 7 chicks from Tractor Supply 03.17.2012, and currently they are hanging out on my parents "mini" farm in Reeders. Five are Cornish X's and two are egg production reds. The only chickens that will be making it back to Jim Thorpe are the egg hens.I plan to be a responsible chicken owner and keep my coop SUPER clean to avoid any odors, not bring home any roosters, etc., but I'm still a little worried about the community and if anyone will give us a hard time. How has your experience been so far? I hope all has been positive, and the spring is upon us! Enjoy the weather!
