JM hatchery pre-orders anyone?

Well I missed out on the Ideal .99 cent Red-Brois because I still think it is a little too early up here to start raising the meaties. But talked to Marti today at JM hatchery and will be placing my pre-order with them for 25 of their colored rangers. I know the price might be a little more but I would like to try Joel's birds out. I can't wait for spring..gonna be a busy one.
Anyone else have Pre-orders in or planning to get some colored rangers from JM?

Yes, my 25 will be shipped out on 3/17. Didn't know anything about them til I found somebody on CL wanting to help with ordering 100. They lived too far to make it a reasonable cost to go pick them up, so I ordered my own. We were originally going to get some of the Rock CornishX from Moyers and still may do that later on. For some reason, I've really zoned in on the processing part - which should take place mid to end-June.

I am thinking about getting some more this year. They did quite well last year. But I don't need 25. So if anyone in southern Maine wants to split and order I would be willing to go in with them.

Well luckily talked to a neighbor up the road and she wants to split an order. So we are going to order 50 and each take 25. Solves my problem of where or how to get meatbirds. The only thing that was for sure stopping me from going with Joel at JM was the 2 dollar a chick price for 25. Which isn't bad but not what I'm looking to spend on a meatbird. But the higher quanitie prices are awesome!

For those of you we've pre-ordered...what's their policy on billing your credit card? right-away? closer to shipping date?
