Jubilee Orpington Chickens????????????

Has anyone ever heard of Julilee Orpingtons? The look sort of like a Speckled Sussex, but are built like the Orpingtons. Does anyone on this site have them or know where to get some of them?

They are my dream chicken. They aren't really available in the US although a couple of people are working on them.

I saw a picture of one for the first time yesterday and I have to get some of them to hatch! I have black, splash, blue and buff. I even have one from Miss Prissy that I believe she called it a RED. I am looking to get some white. I know that Chocolate cannot be obtained in the US but would really like to have a few of them as well. The Lavenders, well, maybe someday the good fairy will shine upon my pocket and allow me to afford some eggs to hatch! LOL!

rnoyster - check out our web site. I have several orpington projects going, including jubilee running in two phases. We are getting ready to start hatching next generation so it should get interesting soon. I don't share all of our projects, but as we start making progress on some of the others, I will provide updates as much as I can. The jubilee project is a long haul, but I fully intend to get there and to share them with others. I wouldn't rule chocolate out just yet. I know a couple folks working on them in the US, so hopefully we'll have some someday if all goes well for them.
