Jumbo Pekins?

I was thinking of getting Pekins for meat this spring. I was looking on Metzer's website and they have Pekins and Jumbo Pekins. Has anyone raised these Jumbo Pekins and raised them along side non-Jumbo Pekins? Are they really Jumbo? The drakes can apparently get up to 13 lbs, but is that in 8 weeks? I don't want any of these ducks around for longer than 8 weeks because then they might end up being here for 8 years!

I have both regular and Jumbo. Yes they are Jumbo. I love Pekins...they're wonderful ducks in any size

I have one of their regular Pekin females and she hit 6 lbs at 4 weeks and is still growing. Sometimes I think I got slipped a Jumbo by mistake

It is a very lovely farm and they are super helpful if you give them a call. I'm sure they have data on the growth rate of their ducks.
