Thanks for all the welcome posts!

We are in the process of building our coop and I am hoping it is done soon. Otherwise, I will be picking chicken feathers out of everything! lol

I love my little barred rock hens - they are the first to come up to my hand and will roost in my palm. The RIRs will come eat out of my hand, but when the food is gone, so are they.

I've been reading and looking pictures and learning so much here.
