Just added another coop.......is it big enough?

I just added a 4x8 coop, 4 ft. high. I would like to house 6 B. Austrolorps and two Barred Rocks in it. It is inside a new 10x30 run.

Sound like enough space?

Forgot to mention the run is 6 ft. high. I added it to my 16x24 existing run which has the original 10x10 coop attached on the outside. It will be L shaped and when the new young ones are fully grown I would like to integrate them in the run.

So, I'm hoping the 16x24 run attached to the additional 10x30 run will be enough space for 48 Chickens. If it's not I'll have to add more run. If it's too much I'll have to get more chickens

Sounds good! I have 5 in a 4x8 coop. Not sure how big the run is, but I think its comparable to the one you have. My chickens seem happy in there. ( Well, they were used to free ranging every day until a neighbor complained, so they arent all THAT happy being penned up, but they stopped complaining)
