Just Bought HOVABATOR INCUBATOR 2362N-> ADVICE??

I have a HOVA BATOR model 1588 PICTURE WINDOW. I used it for the first time last year, I love it, you don't have to do anything, except have eggs, put the water in the area, and let it be until lockdown, than add the required amount of water. I did continue to monitor water levels. I have a automatic egg turner so I just watched it and waited and waited, and waited!!! I am just getting ready to load it up for the first time this year, so tomorrow the humming begins!!

Do you think this one I ordered the "HOVABATOR INCUBATOR 2362N" is a good incubator?

from my experence with both the 1588 and the 2362N...They are entirely different. I had much better hatch rates with the 1588 than the 2362N. Although I like both bators I will buy a 2nd 1588 soon. I my humble opinion the 1588 is as close to set it and forget it as you can come or as close to the Brinsea as you can get without buying one.(Thought I would keep the Brinsea camp happy)

The two main differences in the bators is the 1588 has the auto thermostat as opposed to the waffer thermostat (I would keep a spare waffer around) and the fan is a "soft air" fan (it does not blow down on the eggs which can cause shrink wrapping )

The bator you are getting is a good bator I just like the improvements of the Gensis model.

I have the 2362n also. The only thing I don't like is the small windows. It is good fo beginners. Follow the directions as to ho much water to add this I found important to mantain humidity. Another thing I find is it loses a lot of humdity at the top where the fan is I cover it with a water bottle cap to help mantain it there also I noticed during this hatch was where there plug comes out is also a spot where humidity can escape, I covered it with a quarter. All in all I'm glad I got it and after I get my taxes back I will buy a 1588 genesis.
And have two to use.
