Just called Farm

So I just called the local farm to get Chicken eggs to hatch. Unfortunately they don't have any this week, but next week. I asked for 2 dozen eggs, which are usually either Loghorns or RIR's. I'm looking forward to this. lol. Last year's eggs i got from the farm only 6 hatched so perhaps 12 out of 24 will hatch.lol. They will call when they have eggs.

IS 2 dz a bit much?
I'm going to rehome the chicks after they hatch since I can not keep chickens here.

Okay. its thursday and i was wondering why the farm didn't call with the eggs...i called today and they forgot and when i mentioned that they said they'd call they said oh yeah i guess we forgot. so i go to pick them up tomorrow...
