Just ducky pictures!

My "babies" are now a year old - 3 females, 2 males, I just thought I'd share some pics of them last night when I put them up for the night. Big Momma - the normally white pekin, has found the rice field behind our house and loves swimming in the ditch that surrounds it. I don't think she will ever come clean!! My skovy momma is setting full time and we are due for babies in another week or two. She is setting on about 30 eggs - a combination of hers, Big Momma's, and Nana - the mallard. Yeah!!

My Pekin drakes name is BigMomma!! We thought it was a girl, and then it turned out to be a boy!! Love em!

Aw! Love the skovy pictures, we have our first pair of skovies and cant wait for our ducklings! I have to ask though, how did you get her to lay eggs in the dog house, ours rejected our nesting spot set up and has dug a little bowl in the middle of the chicken coop and that is where she is keeping her eggs.
