Brand new to the whole shebang and I'm really ridiculously excited to have three little chickens! I need a lot of encouragement and help to understand the basics. We just came from a "chicken swap" situation and with a little help from someone there, we chose three. I hate to confess that the scene was so overwhelming that I really don't know what kind of chickens I have. So... maybe someone can help me identify these ladies?

I spent a lot of time combing through this site in the past few days... I'm grateful for all the information and support this community has to offer. Thanks so much!

Those are beautiful chickens! It looks like the 2 similar-looking ones may be Belgian d'Uccles, but I am no expert on breeds. Please feel free to post any questions you may have.

Welcome and congrats on your new flock. They are beautiful, sorry cannot ID the breeds. If you don't get the answer under new member welcomes, then try posting under " what breed/gender forum"

I just looked up the Belgian d'Uccles and these look VERY similar-- both the grey and the reds have the feathered feet so I think you are correct! Thanks!
