Also the females at the end are they Red pyle old english game with the face legs and salmon chest. or could they possible be yokohama also with the EE blood in them. There green legs being the yellow yoko over the EE slate or visa versa

The rooster for sure has some EE blood in him just by looking at his muff and comb and telling from his body posture that is usually seen in game breed of chickens, He is a handsome looking rooster.

Thank you very much. Another post i had maid some one posted a pic of there EE with red pyle coloration. This roo doesnt match it now but im thinking he will look more and more like that guys bird as he gets older.

He is a Mixed breed, So mixed breeds are made up of multiple breeds in their ancestry. All in all it depends on what his gene pool is made up of and that of the hen you want him to mix with.

As he has Ameraucana blood who have a fair egg production, He carries those traits in his gene pool and if you cross him with a Leghorn hen for example, The offspring will be good egg layers.

he also has game blood in him and as far as I´m aware, game breeds are not that productive.. but you could still use him

I guess i had a rare event where i only got 5 roosters our of 32 chics. 3 are barred cochins which i think is safe to say dont have much worth in breeding egg layers. This roo on this post, and I got a pair of Silver laced wyandottes. so that roo is ok i guess at around 200+ eggs a year.

I didnt want to take any chances or waste my time so I went ahead and ordered a Rhode Island Red roo yesterday and 10 Rhode Island White females. I figured if im going to breed egg layers for myself i better just try and do it right by making sex links. If i can succeed at that It will make everything easy for myself and more time productive i think .

I will defenatly try this roo out with my EEs and maybe a black sex link or something and see if i can get some good egg laying mutts out of him that look cool aswell. ill let you know how it goes.

All of them look like they have some yoko in them , their trail is low enough to indicate it,
It could be a little percent but good enough for the cockerel to show it when is all grown.
