Just for a laugh! "The Tablespoon Photoshoot"

I just hatched a couple of sweet little quail, the 3rd egg is still in the incubator but I hear taping and hope to see it emerge soon!
To kill some time while I wait, and really just to appreciate how adorable tiny quail chicks are I thought I would do a little photoshoot of a quail in a spoon after another BYC member mentioned seeing a cute picture of the same...I'm laughing so hard right now because I attempted the so-called adorable photoshoot of a quail chick in a spoon...not only could I not keep the chick in the spoon long enough to even focus my camera but then it pooped in the spoon! Adorable imagery fail! I'll leave that one to the professionals! LOL!

SO CUTE! Recently, I saw a whole bunch of baby quail at the local IFA, and it was the CUTEST thing ever. There were about 30 of them, and they were so tiny, just like yours. It took a lot of restraint for me NOT to buy them (all). Anyway, your quail is so cute, thank you for the picture!

Thanks! I can't stop staring at them! I mean, they're SO little! I've hatched over 100 chicks, geese, peachicks, and turkeys but these littles are just the BEST!

You did a great job! Every time I hatch I try to get photos, I always wind up with random fluffy rear ends, every time!

Thanks! I love taking pictures of my chicks but these quail have by far been the hardest to photograph. They're all over the place! lol
