Puffball is a one week old blue silkie bantam. Has anyone out there raised multiple silkies and observed early behavior in conjunction with later finding out their gender? She is very active, always eating – Way more frequently than the eight other chicks Who are much larger, and though she currently isn’t ranking on the pecking order, she can definitely hold her own shoving in and out of the flock. When not eating or sleeping, she is always busy hopping around or preening herself or others. She has wings coming in nicely and cute little tail already. What do you think?! I know silkies chicks are notoriously hard to sex, but I just thought I would ask for the fun of it…
