Just for fun, let’s sex the other teen chickens I have. These three were chosen from SR bins just to add some flavor to some of the flocks. I was looking to grab any I thought were female but I know how those SR bins work so Im not too worried if they all turned out to be Roos. Any idea?
Light Brahma 10-12 weeks
Black Australorp 10-12 weeks
Gold Laced Wyandotte 10-12 weeks

I have really good luck when the people actually listen to me about which I want. (Knock on wood) the Wyandotte was not the one I chose but I just let the guy pick because it was stressing the others out. These were purchased during the short time our TSC used the tower brooders.

Apparently I have good luck thus far in picking because I chose 7 more from the SR bins for my friend while I was choosing mine and she gets blood tests done for hers (didn’t even know that was an option ) and she got all pullets. 1 GLW, 1 BR, 1BA, 2 buff Orp, 1 pekin, and a lavender Orp. All girls apparently from SR bins. So they aren’t totally screwing us with Roos in those or I just have great luck in only choosing poultry!
