I was talking to our Ag person about being able to sell or ship out of state. He said if you even with your own stock take them across a state line and they have not been tested, you can loose your car or truck in addition to your chickens, chicks, turkeys.
 
Well, I know that at my local livestock auction they accept animals from out of state all the time we are so close to vermont, however they must come with a statement or health record from the vet saying that it is healthy....that's all I really know so hope it helps
 
I'm pretty sure the tests have to be negative for any poultry diseases, such as mareks,cocci,etc.
