My name is Jonathan and I'm totally new to raising chickens. My wife and two daughters just got our first chickens! We live in the burbs so we don't have a ton of space to raise chickens. However, we're not going to let that stop us! We've started work on converting an old playhouse into a coup. It's going well so far. I'll post pictures soon. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions regarding finishing up the build of the coup and taking care of our chicks as they grow. We're looking forward to many fun and exciting chicken adventures!

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided join our flock. You sure have a cute daughter in your avatar. Raising chickens is a wonderful experience for children.
