Just hatched 2 Delaware chicks. 1 has a black spot on its head

Nope, means nothing with Delawares. I have five chicks and four of them have a smudge on their heads. A long time breeder once told me that those may actually have the better color, but I haven't followed one through to adulthood to find out.
