just had a egg hatch and she is bleeding from her butt and theres some thing hanging there is this normal

I just had one hatch this morning. Except it was the yolk hanging out, it quickly went up into its body after it got out.

Sounds like the umbilical cord may be showing. The umbilical cord is very thin/tiny. If the bleeding is just a couple drops, it may be from the umbilical cord. If the stuff hanging from the bum is yellow or large like marble sized, you may have a problem.

chickens do not have cords like mammals. prolapsed of tissue in vent sounds more like it

he died an older one had blood on his beak i think he picked at him and pulled that out he was 5 hr old
