Just joined y'all here. When I was 9 yrs old, my brother brought home a box of hatchery chicks for Easter. For me, that was when the chicken obsession started. Here I am, almost 40 years later, with a laying flock of Black Australorps, Silver Laced Wyandottes, Barred Rocks, Americaunas, Welsummers, Blue Andalusians,misc Bantams, and breeding flock of mixed Guineafowl and a nice brace of Ancona ducks. Just added some new chicks, Partridge Cochins, Dark and Light Brahmas, and Buff Orpingtons and using my new incubator for the first time to hatch out Ancona ducklings this week.
That's me and my poultry on my family farm here in Texas!
