just like to know

i wouldnt just never no what coulkd happen best to let them stay in a brooder pen until ther old enough to fend fro them selves
 
Sometimes people slip newly hatched chicks under a broody at night, replacing the eggs she's sitting on. Then in the morning, the hen thinks the chicks are hers. There's some risk to this approach, though, because the hen isn't always fooled and not all hens turn out to be good mothers, either.
