Would you sell just one peacock to a person who has none? I have someone wanting just one (male) peacock. I happen to have one that was going to the auction soon but I am not sure I want to sell him to be alone for the rest of his life. Although I can't control who buys him or what situation he will go to at the auction either.
Would you sell just one??

Their are several people I have talked with.. via internet... that have only one peacock... thats all they have..

But, I would think, their may be a difference if it was raised alone.. then if you have one that someone wants to purchase and the one you have has always been around others his/life.. then I think its sad.

its such a personal thing, .. I mean the person who may purchase and raise it as a lone peacock might give it the most amazing life:
gorgeous pen, take care of it better then anyone, spoil it rotten, have the best of the best so to speak.

and yet you could sell it to another person has more then one, and they dont even take good care of what they have.... does that make sense???

good luck on whatever your decision is
xoxo

It depends...Do they have other birds? Like not other peafowl but do they have other birds that the peacock could hang out with? That might help him be less lonely. Also when I first started researching about getting peafowl I read on some websites how people suggested just getting a peacock first to get used to peafowl then get a peahen if they want to raise peachicks or get another peacock if they don't want chicks. Maybe that is what this person is doing. If they like him maybe they will get another...

I would sell one peacock to someone if I was selling peafowl just because it is hard to have just one peafowl. Even if they only have just him I am sure that he will adapt and get used to being alone.

Thanks for the replies. They never got back to me so he is going to the auction tomorrow and hopefully he will find a nice place.
