Hello everybody!
I just recently decided to purchase two pekin ducklings and one gosling through a hatchery. Before their arrival I want to make sure I make their first few days at my place comfortable, and I have been doing research on the brooding system, temperatures, type of food, ect. I just have some questions or would like advice on how to raise the ducklings their first few weeks. First of all, i know once they arrive I must give them water and make them drink some (dip their bill in water), is it fine if I give them water that has electrolyte and probiotic supplement in it? or should I give them access to both regular water and the mixed solution water? I plan on purchasing a chick/duckling starter (non medicated ofcourse) but I know these don't have enough niacin in them for the ducklings and gosling so I was planning in giving them the mixed solution in the water.
Also feel free to throw any extra advice that might help me transition the little guys to their new home
