Just out of curiosity why do ducks do this

But they aren’t sleeping could they be cold?

They could be but they are pretty cold hardy animals. How cold is it where you are at? Mine sleep like that year round though.

Mine take naps like that. Often standing on one leg, either resting their head on their back or tucking it under a wing. They look like much prettier seagulls. xD

Looks very comfortable too...neck craned back all the way and standing on one leg...lol
