I just picked up a new rooster, we named him "TRUMPit" (with that front comb over we just couldnt help ourselves with the name😂) was told he's a "frizzled show girl" currently going through a hard molt. Introduced him to my bantam ladies, and everyone accepted eachother with absolutely no issues what so ever ((YAY)) we've had him with the ladies for about a week now, and he hasn't crowed at all & no attempt at mating with the ladies either🤔 is this because of the molt he's going through?
Including some pictures of "TRUMPit" below

He looks amazing!
Since he's new, he may not count the area as "his own" yet, this means he will not crow much or at all. When he gets more comfortable he'll crow. Is he your only rooster?
Molting and the fact that he's new will affect mating too. Once he's settled he'll act like a regular rooster!

Im so in love with him! He's just so unique and im so excited to see how he'll fully feather out when they cone back in. He's the only rooster in my bantam run (currently have 5 hens, & 5 silkies in the brooder inside that will be added to the coop in a couple weeks)
I have another flock of about 15 & have a large polish Roo for them (the 2 flocks are kept seperate) Here's pictures of my other rooster & my 5 silkie chicks

Make sure you update about him on the frizzle thread. I'll tag you. He's so gorgeous!

Maybe if he hears another roo crowing, he will crow less?
