Just real quick question

For a wound, procaine penicillin G is what most people would use from a feed store (it is refrigerated.) Tylan is more for respiratory or certain intestinal problems. A vet could give you better antibiotics, such as Clavamox or Baytril. Dosage of procaine penicillin G is 1/4 ml or cc given 1/4 inch into the breast muscle once a day for 4 days with a 20 gauge needle. You will need 4 syringes 3ml and 4 needles that are 20 gauge.
 
Just learned a valuable lesson.. that is what I had gathered from this site..sent hubby to Tractor Supply she told him no.. that he Tylan 50..so frustrated ..now the hen goes an extra day without it because someone who calls her self chicken guru
