These birds are around 16 weeks old. We got them last night, and would love help identifying them. We also have Nala, i think its a rooster, that was sold to us as an australorp, but looks nothing like our other four australorp hens. What do you think? Thank you so much!!

Looks like gold laced wyandotte type roos but they have straight combs and a RIR or production red roo.

Rescued they from being culled?

second picture looks to be a mixed EE roo.

I know the second pic is a roo, but what about the gold laced makes you think they are roos? The have nearly no tail feathers, small feet, small comb... And the one in the back in the first pic is a new hampshire red, not a RIR. I meant to clarify.

Two GLW Roos and a Production Red Roo

EE Roo

the saddle feathers, hackle feathers and the darker red on the wings make them roosters. The rir or production red rooster is not a new hampshire (no red at the end) because he is too red, NH's are more of a orange color

I agree, gold laced roosters but they really don't look Wyandotte type. The darker red on the wing is the male indicator here, plus the start of hackle and saddle feathers. They may not have much tail feathers from being confined with multiple other birds, who knows. An older dominant rooter could have inhibited their crowing.

The last bird just looks like a mixed breed rooster. I could see some ee there, but looks like something else to me, too.

they look wyandotte type for that age of roos.once they get there growth they will fill out and look more wyandotte. they are single combed, but that happens in wyandottes and the bright yellow legs = wyandotte
