I just set 7 barred bantam frizzled cochin eggs in the incubator. This is my second hatch. My first hatch resulted in 4 frizzle/sizzle silkies and 5 frizzled cochins. I just love my hatched chicks! I've bought day old chicks this Winter as well. We are just starting out. My hatched chicks are so friendly. They are almost a month old now and when we go outside to play, they follow me around, hop on my leg. So cute! Hatching takes longer but I've been so pleased with the personalities. Some of my "bought" chicks made me feel like an axe murderer when I came around. They almost killed themselves trying to escape me when I fed them!
