Just set some eggs

First time incubating. I have a genesis. 11 Black Copper Sarans. 9 Golden Cuckoos. 4 Polish and 18I of my EE Barred Rock cross. Temp 101. Humidity 35 on the dot. Here's to hoping.

Good luck! I too, set eggs, but yesterday. First timer too! What kind of incubator. I bought a Brinsea Advance 20. My temp is 37.5C and 47% humidity.

I also started some eggs yesterday. 14h red shoulders, 40 black copper marans and one little silkie. Temp stable at 99.5, humidity was ~50% when I checked it. Good luck guys

Temp of 101 seems a little high

I don't think my auto turner is working.

You will not be able to see it turn, but if you have watched over several hours and it hasn't moved, thats not good. Turning by hand three times a day is an option

I agree, with everything I have read.. it does seem abit high. Should be 99.3-99.6F by my incubator manual. Or if your in Canada like me, its 37.4-37.6C.

Put my eggs into lock down yesterday. Wife called while Im stuck at work and said one hatched this morning and more on the way. A bit early but....
