Just standing around with eyes closed...

I posted this yesterday morning about finding red poo from my black Orp. She perked up yesterday and I haven't seen any signs of red poo from any birds so I haven't medicate. Now she is standing around with her eyes closed away from her best friend. Any idea what is wrong?

Eyes closed away from her best friend is bad. On your other thread treating for cocci is recommended and I imagine you're doing that but whatever you do, please hurry. And if a vet is possible, hurry. By the time a chicken acts like you describe, they are in a world of hurt and need the right remedy fast.

I put her best friend in with her. Given her protein and and electrolytes. She's doing much better this morning. She's eating on her own, but starts, then stops for a few secs with her eyes closed then starts again. I am researching respiratory infections on BYC now to see if that is the problem.
