Just Starting on My Chicken Journey in Baja California

Hi everyone! I joined the forum because this site has been my go-to for learning everything I know so far about chickens (besides some books that got from Amazon). So much great info here. A little bit about myself - I am semi-retired, and co-owner of a 24 acre vineyard in Valle de Guadalupe, Baja California, Mexico. We just completed our chicken coop (about 600 square foot run + 100 sq foot coop) - I will post some pictures here. And a week ago I got 24 female chicks which I brought down from San diego: 4 each of Black Sexlink Marans, Cuckoo Marans, Barred Rocks, Olive Eggers, Lavender Orpingtons and Red Orpingtons. Next week I will be getting 4 Easter Eggers, 4 Cream Legbars, and 4 Ameracaunas. Obviously I'm hoping to have rainbow eggs. So far I am really enjoying my little chicks!
