Just thinking about adding a couple of new girls..

I have a flock of RIR hens(approx 22), 2 BR hens & 2 BR Roosters.. I'm thinking about adding 3 More reds & 2 Orpington hens (pullets). (Yes looking for good mama's) It is time to add to the flock so everyone isn't molting at the same time. So is it a good idea adding the Orpingtons?

Orpingtons are great chickens, but if you want broody hens, then opt for Cochin or Silkie. Many peeps keep them just for maternity duty.
