Howdy y'all! My name is Jenny and my husband and I are getting ready for our second attempt at hatching some bantam eggs. We just spent the past 25 days trying to hatch some bantam eggs and out of 44, only 3 even formed into chicks. None hatched. I am pretty sure that I over humidified the incubator and that I didn't have the temp high enough. It is also possible that the eggs weren't any good.

Oh well...we're gonna give it another go. Wish us luck! I've got the incubator heating up now and will keep the temp closer to 101* this time. We kept it at 99.5* the last time and I don't think that was warm enough. We also only turned them once per day. According to everything I've read, that isn't often enough.

I'm hoping for great success this time. We have fresher eggs and are keeping the incubator in the house with us to keep a really close eye on them.
