I'm in western PA currently. I plan on getting it young so spring it will be raised by the lead hens and deal with being shown to respect everyone else in the coop.

Check your local Craigslist. I see free cockerels all the time. Inculding some 6 week old cockerels.

I can’t believe I messed that up. I’m usually great with barred birds.

All good.. I was amped for at least one boy.. now I've only got girls so lots of eggs now.. I may have added two more to my flock, got two golden laced wyandotte pullets.. yay 15 layers.
