Just Wondering

Not to start a big fight, but why are the USA athletes that win gold not placing their right hand over their heart when the national antheme is played?
I have seen a few do it, but watching tonight neither the silver nor gold winner; both Americans; did not cover their heart.

I was taught to stand and place my right hand over my heart and for the men to remove their head covering and also place their right hand over their heart until the antheme is finished.

Is it bugging anybody else??

I havent been watching the Olympics but yes if that is what is happening it DOES bug me!

It bothers me too. I am not watching as I have no TV. Apparently there is NOTHING worth watching anymore anyway.

yeah..i didnt watch..
but if i had seen it i would have been VERY dissapointed in them.
