Has anyone else noticed that Silkies don't seem as coordinated/balanced as other chickens?
Whenever I hold my silkies, with the slightest move I make they lose thier balance and flap like nuts, and sometimes fall off! (Luckily, I usially catch them!

)

You know what, I never really noticed it before, but I think I know what you mean!!! Hahaha, that's interesting . . . I'm probably going to be hyper-aware of it from now on!!!

yes, i saw that happen many times with my silkie. im no expert but i noticed that their wing feathers are too soft to support them unlike my leghorn rooster which has a strong plumage, so can fly.
