First off, I'm not a peafowl owner, (girlfriend has 10 hens) so pretty much I do like birds. I'm an OTR trucker and am all over the country. One place I try to stop at is at Dunnigan,Ca., a real small "town" with a giant grain facility. Good safe/quiet place to sleep.

One evening I heard what I thought was a huge cat, low and behold, PEACOCKS! Someone here keeps these beautiful birds and lets them roam at dusk, they come over to the facility and forage for whatever is on the ground. Absolutely beautiful birds. Blue bodies and green tails, no trains as I guess they were young.

This evening, I counted at least 13, come dark, they were headed to the "barn".

Peacock = alarm clock, right? lol

What a treat to have a surprise encounter with a gang of peas!
During breeding season, peacock = alarm clock at midnight...2 AM...etc...
