k guys.. i cant choose my favorite.. help me!

I'm trying to decide which of my oil pastel drawing i wanna put in the open 4-h show...
I'd like your opinions and im open to critiques

Aren't those beautiful!! I am biased because I have horses and chickens, (and flowers!!) so I like #1 and #3. I love the colors of #1 and the composition the most.

anyway, wow chicken!!!

monkey looks unfinished.... but that face! really nice shading! please finish this and then i want it! my address is... oh, anyway...

horse seems a bit smudgy, but i can't deny it has a nice raised shape and i wish i could do a sky that looked that good, its a very finished looking piece if you could make the horse a little less unfocused?

the flower seems a bit flat but great use of space and wonderful blending! next time try and use something other then a black outline?

i hate you! sorry that was necessary since i can not use that media. i am jelouse! they look like something that needs to be hanged on every wall of your house (or mine). please continue, you are a fantastic artist!

thanks so much for the critisism...
i have no idea what im doing with the monkey...
he's being held in his mom and dads arms...and they are white... so i got confused...
the horse is smudgey cause i got confused

i guess i stop once im confused

oh and may i ask why you cant use this medium??
i find oil pastels the easiest to work with...

they never turn out looking any better then a second graders, unless it's just outlines. love markers, ink pens, and colored pencils. not so good with the paints, and the runny smudgy stuff. even water colors seem impossible to me.

I vote for the rooster, and not just because this is a chicken forum.

That one looks the most polished, the combination of colors is very eye-catching, and I think you did a great job with the details of the face and the feathers. That rooster looks like he has super powers.

oh mine start out looking like a 1st graders drawing...
I cant do markers or pens...
im ok with pencils...
Im horrible with paints...
i like things that can be erased or blended well
