1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I am new to chickens...my grandpa has 100 or so and I'd like to have a few.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? ZERO, but an article in the KC Star might sway my wife into letting me have a half dozen or so.
(3) What breeds do you have? None and no clue what ones would work best. I have an acre fenced in back yard...plenty of room!
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com? An article in the Kansas City Star
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Gardening, Fishing, Hunting
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. We have three black labs that I train and use for duck hunting. I think they can live harmoniously together in the backyard...time will tell once I get this thing started!
