We are moving to Kansas City in the next few months, I am interested in having egg laying hens and would like to know where we can best do this. We have 4 kids so schools in the area are important to us. Within our price range, most houses that we have seen are your basic 3 bedroom house with a yard, but we have found some homes that have some acreage, about 2.5 acres so far. Most of the houses we have seen have been in Kansas, but we will try to see some in Missouri in the coming weeks.
