Well to JustAChickenLittle&More, I think I’ve got a Black Australorp, a Golden Laced Wyandotte, and possibly three Red Stars. Right now I’m just praying they really are all pullets!

As for being the weird chicken lady it’s because I trained my last girls all sorts of silly tricks. One Buff Orpington named MerryGold was often seen riding about perched on my shoulder while I did chores and gardening. I even took her out trick-or-treating with me, I was a pirate (love pirates!) she was my exotic parrot!

Can’t wait to hit the Kansas thread, sounds like fun!

Howdy... and welcome! I'm in the KC area too. About 45 minutes south of downtown on the Missouri side. I'm new to BYC (just joined yesterday) but I'm not new to chickens. I'm inheriting two more from my sister in a couple hours. She asked me if I'd take two of her new chicks that have pasty butt. A Silver Laced Wyanodotte and a RIR.
